i uploaded a stone foxes show that went to the community borad and it would be better served in the live music archive. cauuse these guys are young stars on the rise that play live alot and the shows should be archived here. on the live musiuc data base because there is more traffic and you can download the whole show there at once rather than one song at a time. i guess i must be doing spomethig wrong because neither show i have uploaded the stone foxes otr the mother hips made it to the live archive. thank you for moving the moth er hips at mccabe's guitar shop. no could you do the same with this stone foxes show thanks lary v

Hi Lary - we'd love to have the Stone Foxes show in the LMA collection, but we need permission from the band first. And technically, you shouldn't be uploading anything to Community Audio for which you don't have permission from the band either, so either way, please make sure you have that!

As for the Mother Hips show, I can definitely move that over for you; can you post a link so it's easier to find?

ok it is my little brothers band, and they told me it was ok to do. that was how they were going to get a copy. so how do they give permission.

They can give permission simply by sending an email to etree@archive.org with some sort of permission statement.

As for the Mother Hips show, I need a link...

Hi Lary - thanks for the link!

It looks like one of the other admins moved that show for you, but the show is in m4a (lossy) format instead of lossless (FLAC). If you have the original WAV files, can you please reencode to FLAC instead of m4a and upload? The Live Music Archive collection is for lossless formats only.
